Jeanne (Donoviel) Udink Obituary (1948

Jeanne Udink (Donoviel) has found peace. She was reunited with the absolute love of her life, Robert Duane Udink, on October 24, 2024. They had been separated for the past four years. They were married for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City temple on August 29, 1969. We have no doubt they are happy beyond understanding to be together again. She was born to her beloved parents, Wesley George Donoviel and Esther Van Schaar on September 11, 1948. She is preceded in death by her sister Geraldine and her brothers Wayne and Allen. Jeanne is survived by her baby sister Annette (Duane) Minnig. She adored and loved her siblings from the bottom of her heart. Jeanne leaves a legacy of love through her wonderful children, Shaun (Mindy), Kevin (Denyce), Jana (Joel), Brian (Jennifer), Aaron (Virginia) and Jeffrey (Vidasta). Along with her twenty-five grandchildren. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. She filled all the lives she touched with loving kindness. Jeanne feared nothing and faced life with complete bravery. She taught everyone to be strong and self-sufficient, to have pride in success, learn from failure and stay true to the Lord's gospel. As we transition into a life without Jeanne, we find solace in knowing we will be with her again. We find joy in the happy reunion she is having with her husband and the family. The world is a little less bright without her in it. We miss her and await the day we can be with her again. We are grateful to the Peaks of Clinton for the care they gave Jeanne in her time of need. A viewing will be held Monday, November 11, 2024 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 250 N Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah 84041. Her funeral service will be held at the LDS Church, located at 2280 North 3600 West Street, Plain City. The funeral service will start at 11:30am with a viewing prior from 10:00am-11:00am. Interment will follow at Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 S. Washington Blvd, Ogden, Utah 84403.
