South Weber, UT - Jeffrey Alan Halverson, age 55, passed away at home on Monday, December 11th, after a short but valiant battle with cancer. Jeff was born on June 27, 1962 in Ogden, UT to Gary and Mary Halverson. He attended Ogden High School where he met his sweetheart, Claudette Crawford. They were married in the Ogden Temple on September 10, 1982.

Jeff was a journeyman plumber, master pipefitter, and a proud member of UA Local 140. During his working years he had many experiences doing different jobs both local and across the country. Some of his favorite were the service calls he would make to the neighborhood "blue hairs".

Jeff was an avid outdoorsman. He loved taking the horses for a ride up in the hills. He spent every moment he could hunting and riding. One of his greatest joys was sharing this passion of his with family and friends.

There are many words and phrases that could be used to describe Jeff. He came across as rough on the outside, a modern-day Viking. He was funny, hardworking, and service oriented. But the most important words that describe him are those of husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Claudette; children: Courtney (Michael) Fackrell, Erica (Greg) Timothy, Audrey Halverson and Dylan Halverson; grandchildren: Jacob and Olivia Fackrell and two more on the way. Also, his parents, Gary and Mary Halverson; and siblings: Michael (Jodi) Halverson, Kirk (Betsy) Halverson, Sherry Kerbo; sister-in-law Vicky Halverson, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his older brother Scott Halverson.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the South Weber Stake Center, 7989 So. 2250 E., So. Weber, UT. Friends may visit with family on Friday, December 15th from 6 to 8 p.m. and prior to the service from 9 to 9:40 a.m. at the church. Interment, Washington Heights Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to a charitable account set up at America First under Jeff Halverson.
