FARR WEST - Our beloved father, brother, son and friend passed away at his home Saturday, May 12, 2007. He was born August 6, 1972 in Ogden, UT to Michael James and Faye LaVern Bennett Whitney. He was a graduate of Ben Lomond High School where he earned the Black Watch Award for his outstanding athletic abilities. Jeff was a gifted athlete and excelled in soccer, football and wrestling.

Jeff married Paulyn Marie Russell January 18, 1991; their marriage was sealed in the Bountiful LDS Temple. They later divorced.

He enjoyed coaching his son's soccer team, The Strikers; loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping but his fondest moments were spent with his son Michael, his princess Ayrica and his sweet baby Alyssa.

He is survived by his parents; his son Michael Thomas Whitney; daughters Ayrica Marie and Alyssa Grace Whitney; sister Lynda Christine (Kent) Marchant of Phoenix, AZ.

He was preceded in death by three grandparents.
