Jens "Buddy" Isaac Terry Obituary (1996 - 2013)

Jens Isaac "Buddy" Terry CLINTON - Our little "Buddy" left this life on February 24, 2013 after spending sixteen years bringing happiness and laughter to our family. He and his twin sister Heather were born to Tresa Folkman and Bill Terry on September 13, 1996 in Salt Lake City. He was a sophomore at Clearfield High School. He attended Clinton Elementary School and Sunset Junior High. Buddy was an avid hunter and fly fisherman. Somehow he always knew what fly to use and he could often be found in Grandpa Marlin's fly tying room making up new flies. He was quite proud of the swan that he got this fall. He liked to pal around with his Grandpa and brothers Jade, Jeremy and Brackon. He loved his Grandma dearly and spent many nights trying to teach her to use electronic gadgets. He loved Grandpa Marlin's pancakes on Saturday morning. He spent many afternoons fishing at Steed's Pond with his special friends Eric, Charlie and Casey. He could school the best of them in calling in ducks and geese and fishing. He could grill up duck and trout using "random herbs and spices" that you couldn't resist. He and his twin sister Heather could bicker like an old married couple at times, but he was fiercely protective of her and they had a special bond that only twins know. He would wrap his long arms around Hannah and his mom, and bear-hug the air right out of them. This little family and their Mom have weathered a lot of storms and they'll get through this one too. Buddy is survived by his Mom, Tresa of Clinton and father Bill of Magna. His brothers Jade Schooler (Ashley), Brackon Suiter (Laura), Jeremy Terry; sisters Hannah Terry and Heather Terry. Sweet nephews Ayden and Stetson. Grandparents, Marlin and Linda Balls of Mountain Green; Lynn and Doris Folkman of Warren; Great-grandma Selma Wilson of South Weber; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 4, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., at the Clinton Stake Center 1228 West 1300 North, Clinton, Utah. A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., and on Monday from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m., prior to services at the church. Interment in the Plain City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Jens Terry Memorial account at any America First.
