Jess Allen Dummar Obituary (1948 - 2001)

SALT LAKE CITY - Jess Allen Dummar, 53, died Tuesday, June 5, 2001, a victim of a stabbing incident. He was born January 14, 1949 in Fallon, Nevada to Arnold Kearn and Chloe Winder Dummar. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Jess was a fun-loving man and was eager to make people laugh. Surviving are two sons and six daughters, Leischa Dummar, Shelaine Badoni, Jody Dummar, Jessie Hayes, Robert Dummar, Jan Dummar, Julie Dummar, Jesse Joel Dummar; and 20 grandchildren. Also surviving are five brothers and two sisters, Wallace Dummar, Ray Dummar, Richard Dummar, Melvin Dummar, Fred Dummar, Syvella Kalil, and Chloe Fowler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Chloe Dummar; and two sisters, Mary Ellen and Eva. We love you and you will be greatly missed. Private family services will be held. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park, where military honors will be accorded by the Combined Veteran's Honor Guard.
