JILL ANNETTE NICKOLAUSON
23 March 1960 - 12 March 2017

On a chilly March 23 March 1960) afternoon, to our family a baby girl was born.
To our lives, she brought joy.
She was soft spoken, kind loved by all who knew her.
She was intelligent, bright and beautiful.
She was a dutiful daughter.
A confidant and best friend to her siblings
Adored by her children. A friend to all she met.
She always had a kind word and helping hand to those in need of one.
She would laugh with you cry with you, and pray with you.

On a chilly March (12 March 20170 afternoon, Jill was called back home.
She dances now with her son, her dad and her brother.
She is without pain and without sickness.
Her beauty forever preserved.
A shining star among the angels.
She is the wave of comfort in times of sorrow.
She is the wind that blows across our faces.
She is the brightest twinkle in the night sky.

She is the wife of Richard Nickolauson, daughter of Richard and Connie Krogedal; sister of Doreen Archuleta, Scott Krogedal, Jennifer Beatty, and Deanna Keller; mother of Jodie Reece and Mathew Nickolausonn, a friend to many and our angel.

Jill attended schools in Froid, MT, Wolf Point, MT, Absarokee, MT, and graduated from Hardin High School in Hardin, MT. She went on to college for 1 year in billings Mt, before moving to Ellsworth Air Force Base with her sister, Doreen and her husband Allen. While there she met and married her husband Richard Nickolauson on December 18, 1981 and began her life as an Air Force wife. In December 1982, Jill and Richard took an assignment to Bitburg Air Base, Germany where their daughter Jodie Marie was born in January 1985. Time came for another assignment which brought them to Hill Air Force Base, Utah in December 1985 where their son Matthew Ryan was born in September 1988. While living in Utah, Jill worked for American Gourmet Food sin the Freeport Center, Convergys's and the Internal Revenue Service.

Jill loved her Denver Bronco and Utah Jazz beyond infinity! Drive by her house when a game was on you would know it! Her passion for baseball was shown by many years of playing softball and watching every game her brother played from Pee Wee, Little League and Babe Ruth. Her greatest hobbies included any card or board game as she was the family "champion" of most. Last but not least, Jill had a strong love and bond with animals since she was little. She loved and cared for the family's 5 pets, whom we know will miss her dearly.

Jill is survived by her husband, Richard; Daughter Jodie (Jerry); son Matthew; mother Connie Krogedal; sister Doreen(Rick Krusell) Archuleta, Jennifer Beatty and Deanna(Chris) Keller; goddaughter Katie Wallace; 14 nieces and nephews; 9 great nieces and nephews; and a very special Friend Shauna and her children, Jennifer, Chris, and Morgan. She also leaves behind her most love and cherished Shadow, Kai, Bear, Bailey and Bella.

The gates of Heaven opened on Sunday, March 12, 2017 as Jill was accepted into the loving arms of 3 beautiful angels; her infant son (Oct 1982), her Brother, Scott Krogedal (July 2014) and her father, Richard Krogedal (August 2016).
