Jimmy Adair

Jimmy Willis Adair, 86, of Ogden passed away February 17, 2023. Jimmy was born March 10, 1936 in Bowdon, GA to Gleamar Arvesta Culpepper and Ollie Brantford Adair. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and retired after 20 years of service.

Jimmy married Fern Drowns on October 24, 1958, in Dougherty County Georgia.

Jimmy loved music, he could play any string instrument including the fiddle but mainly played "Steel Guitar" and played at many Steel Guitar jamborees. He was an electrician and loved to tinker on cars. He worked in Radar Maintenance at HAFB also.

He loved his grandchildren and attended all graduations and many of their other events.

He is survived by his children Jimmy (Tamra), Annette (Gene) Murri, Rodger (Mary), his sister Charlotte "June" Wilson, his 14 grandchildren,19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
