Jimmy David Archuleta

Ogden - Jimmy D. Archuleta, 66, died April 16, 2011 unexpectedly from a heart attack. He was born June 27, 1944 in Layton, UT to Priscilla Trujillo and George G. Lucero. He married Maria Baca in Wendover, NV in 1972.

Jimmy worked as a Security Officer at the IRS for six years and at Hill Air Force Base. He loved camping, fishing and driving in the mountains. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Maria; 3 daughters and 5 sons, Jimmy Howell (Malisa), Patrick Archuleta, Ricky Archuleta, Jimmy "Butch" Archuleta, Kenny Archuleta, Lisa Webb (Dave), Marcella Gonzales, Christina Archuleta; 18 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and 3 brothers and 1 sister.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Juan and Tita Trujillo; mother Priscilla; his brother and sister, Leo and Marcella Flores; grandson PJ Archuleta.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 514 24th St. Friends may call at Myers Ogden Mortuary 845 Washington Blvd. on Monday, April 25th from 6 - 7p.m., vigil service at 7 p.m.

Interment at Myers Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd.
