Joan C. (Danes) Goich Obituary (1940 - 2019)

Joan Celeste Goich April 1, 1940 ~ October 12, 2019 Joan Goich passed away October 11, 2019 in Ogden, Utah. She was born in Nebraska to Joyce and Joye Danes on April 1, 1940. Joan lived in Green River, Wyoming. Upon meeting Melvin Goich, together they moved to Ogden, Utah. Joan and Melvin were married on August 21,1957. In their marriage they had 5 Children. She was a professional seamstress, working at Catalina Sewing Factories, and loved to crochet. She was an active member of the Elim Lutheran Church. She is survived by her children; Melvin (Delight) Goich, Debra (Thomas) Railey, Trisha Brubaker (Goich), Eli Goich. She has 7 grandchild and 12 great grandchildren, 1 brother and 3 sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was is preceded in death by; her husband Melvin, and son Dallas (Skip) Goich, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and 6 nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Lomond Peak Nursing and Rehab for caring for our mother over the last 6 months.
