Ogden - Joe Gabriel Duran passed away December 26, 2012. Joe was born January 21, 1962 in Ogden, Utah the son of Eleanor Garcia and Joe R. Duran.
He graduated from Ben Lomond High School. He married Lisa Ann Orosco in Ogden, Utah on May 9, 1992.

He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Joe worked at ATK in Shipping and Receiving. He loved to fish, play bingo and cards, taking car rides, traveling; especially to Wendover to play Black Jack.

Joe is survived by his mother; his wife; two sons, Julian Anthony Duran and Adam Curtis Orosco and his brother, Larry A. Duran. He was preceded in death by his father; two brother, Frank and Lewis Duran; grandmother, Louisa and grandfather, Rosario.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 4, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Friends and family may gather on Thursday, January 3rd from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. where a Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Interment will follow the Mass at the Ogden City Cemetery.

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, For Thou art with me. Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies. Thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
