John Edward Conroy Jr.
John Edward Conroy Jr. passed away February 17, 2018 in Ogden, UT. John was born January 23, 1963 at Hill Air Force Base, Utah to Audrey Jane Newman and John Edward Conroy Sr. He grew up wherever the Air Force happened to take his family. John married the love of his life, Kara Toone, on September 15, 1990.
John was a very skilled Machinist with over 30 years of experience working for Parker Hannifin and Hill Air Force Base. John was a good man with a sharp mind and a caring heart and was often found helping those in need. John always had a special place in his heart for children and animals.
John loved fishing, hunting, cutting down trees, and the outdoors in general.
John is survived by his wife; daughter, Megan; siblings, Cindy (James) Davis, Shelly (Larry) Carver, Paul (Barbie) Conroy, David (Amy) Conroy; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Debbie; brother, Michael; and his beloved border collie, Belle.
Services will be held Friday, February 23, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Ogden Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. with viewings held from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to services and Thursday the 22nd from 6 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary.
Interment; Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch.
