ROY - Our beloved son, brother, grandson and dear friend, John Anthony Edwards passed away Sunday, July 1, 2007 from injuries sustained in a tragic car accident.

John was born on May 3, 1990 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Dana Edwards and Milton Edwards Jr. He was the second of three sons.

He was a Senior at Roy High School.

John was happiest when he was hanging out with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing basketball with his two brothers and his friends, singing, cooking and had planned on attending a culinary school this summer.

Surviving are his mother and his father, his brothers, Milton III and Nicholas who he loved dearly. Also surviving are his grandparents, John and Edna Lyons and Milton Sr. and Reola Edwards, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 6, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.
Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
