John Grange Fleming

SUNSET -- John Grange Fleming "Jack" of Sunset died at his home Thursday, May 1, 2014.

He was born March 9, 1931 to Thelma Grange and Dennis Fleming and was raised by his loving stepfather, Lee Richardson.

He graduated from Ogden High School, served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and worked for the railroad for 40 years.

On July 27, 1951 he married the love of his life, Elizabeth Thomas. The marriage was later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.

They had four children: John (Gail), Gayla (Dale) Packer, Jeff (Barbara) and Kathleen (Kevin) Francis; 17 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter and a sister.

A viewing will be held Monday, May 5, 2014 from 11:30 to 12: 30 p.m. at the Sunset LDS 1st Ward, 2431 North 250 West, followed by a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. at the West Warren Cemetery, 750 North 6700 West, West Warren, UT.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Inspiration Hospice and Home Care, 835 East 4800 South, Suite 110, Murray, UT. 84107.
