J. Glenn Minson

OGDEN - John Glenn Minson, age 91, died Easter Sunday, April 20, 2003 at his home, from causes incident to age.

He was born December 4, 1911 in Brigham City, UT to John Minson and Lettie Hortense Peterson. Glenn married Marie Eliason in the Salt Lake Temple on May 25, 1939. She died January 7, 2002. He was an active member in the church he loved, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, holding many positions including Bishop, High Councilman, Ward Clerk, Ogden Temple Ordinances worker as well as served four missions with his wife.

He was a life member of Utah Sons of Pioneers since 1989.

Glenn was Assistant Office Manager with Cudahay Packing Company, co-owner of Bountiful Realty and retired from MetLife as an agent and sales manager in the Ogden District.

Surviving are four children, Paul C., Marcia (Rick) Sutton, John D. (Cynthia), and Lona (Gordon) Miller, 12 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Also surviving is one sister, Creola Packer. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Primary Childrens Medical Center, Salt Lake City.
