John Ormond

John Ormond, born on February 26, 1956 in Ogden, UT, passed away on October 7, 2026. John was a lifelong resident of Willard, Utah, where he was raised and later made his home. Known for being hardworking and friendly, he was a beloved figure in the community. John was a proud alumnus of Willard Elementary, Box Elder Junior High, and Box Elder High School. He made his career as a Shop Manager at Ormond Construction, a local business that he served with dedication and passion.

John was a man of many interests and hobbies. He found joy in the great outdoors, often seen hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, or canoeing. Despite his busy schedule, John always found time to lend a hand or share a word of encouragement. His compassionate spirit and friendly demeanor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

John is survived by his siblings: David (Cindy) Ormond, Kenny (Ruth) Ormond, Laura Ormond and Wynn Ormond. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Ormond and nephews TJ Ormond and Waylon Hirschi.

A Graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Willard Cemetery, 550 North Main Street, Utah 84340. Family and friends will be able to gather at the graveside prior to the service for visitation from 1:30 – 2:00 p.m.
