John Rex Williamson

Sunset - John Rex Williamson, 75, passed away at home Wednesday, April 11, 2001 of a lingering illness.

He was born May 9, 1925 in Wilson Lane, Utah the son of Walter Coleman and Gertrude Martin Williamson.

He married Norma Madsen Frew, December 28, 1957 in Elko, Nevada. He had served in the United States Army during World War II. He had worked at Hill Air Force Base retiring after 33 years of service. He had many friends. He loved wood working and working with automobiles.

John loved his children and grandchildren very much.

He is survived by his wife Norma; son Rod (Sandy)Frew of Layton; daughter Terri (Preston) Lindsey of Layton; daughters from a previous marriage Cathy and Denise; four grandchildren, Jordan, Carson, Cameron, Cali Frew; a brother Wayne; sisters Norma and Bertha.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.
