John Ray Young Obituary (1928 - 1990)

JOHN RAY YOUNG Clinton - John Ray Young, loving husband, son, brother,nephew and friend passed away Sunday, July 22, 2001 at the age of 23 of an accidental drowning. He was born on December 13, 1977 in Ogden, Utah a son of Julie Marie Forsgren. He married Michelle Shepard on June 5,1999 in Ogden, Utah. John enjoyed camping, fishing and auto repair. At the time of his death, John was employed in the maintenance department at Flying J in Ogden. He was a great friend, a very special person, and will be missed by all who knew him. He worked hard and always had time to lend a helping hand. John was a member of the L.D.S. Church. He is survived by his wife Michelle, Brigham City; his parents, Alan & Julie Forsgren, Clinton; one brother, AlC Justin D. (Jennifer) Forsgren, Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota; a special niece, Caitlin; his grandmother, Betty Forsgren, Layton; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents John & Arlene Young; and Herbert Forsgren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in John's name to: John R. Young Donation Fund-Goldenwest Credit Union, 5627 S. 2050 W. Roy, Utah 84067.
