Michael (Jack) Mallari April 16, 1967- February 22, 2017 Michael (Jack) Mallari, 49 passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 of a massive heart attack. Michael was born April 16, 1967 in the Philippines, the eldest son of Amalio and Milagros Mallari His family later moved to California. After graduating from college Michael moved to Hooper, Utah. He married Mindy Bereece on November 7, 1999. Michael and Mindy were blessed with two children, Mikayla and Skyler. Michael was employed at Winco Foods in Ogden/Roy as a produce clerk for the past 7 years. He truly loved his job and co-workers. Surviving are his wife, Mindy; two children Mikayla and Skyler; parents Amalio and Milagros Mallari; three brothers Jerry (Ruth) Mallari, Malvin (Liza) Mallari, and Solito (Cecile) Mallari; and two sisters Monette (Joey) Lucas, and Theresa (Jay) Aqui. Rosary will be on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at 5 p.m., at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 S. 1900 W., Roy, Utah. A viewing will follow from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at 11:00 am at the Hooper Pioneer Trail Ward building, located at 5000 S. 5900 W., Hooper, UT. A viewing will be held just prior from 9:40 - 10:40 am. Interment, Hooper City Cemetery - at a later date.
