Joseph Antista 1958 ~ 2008 Layton/Oahu ~ Joseph Charles Antista, 50 passed away November 3, 2008. Born January 29, 1958 in Inglewood, California to Joseph and Teresa Antista. Survived by his parents and brother, Tom Antista and family. Joe passed away peacefully of natural causes. Joe always had an adventurous spirit that took him many places. Over the past few years he had been living in Hawaii working as a systems analysis specialist for large companies. The ocean and the people in Hawaii were one of the reasons he had decided to stay and make it home. He was passionate about the ocean and went scuba diving or sailing as much as possible. Joe loved being with family and friends and though he may be been reserved at times he always made those around him feel good. Joe was always known to have a very big heart. He had an inquiring mind and couldn't get his fill of crossword puzzles. Joe graduated from Layton High School, class of 1976. Joe loved life and will be missed very much by those who knew and loved him. Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 7, 2008 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 S. Chapel Street, at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends may gather at Myers Mortuary, 250 North Fairfield Road, Layton, UT on Thursday, November 6, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. a Rosary Service will be held at 7 p.m. Interment will be at Mt.
