Josephine Reeves

OGDEN - Josephine Reeves, 76, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2002 at Mt. Ogden Care Center.

She was born February 27, 1925 in Clarksville, Texas to Jodi and Scotti Murphy Gray. She married Paul Reeves on September 19, 1942 in Clarksville, Texas.

She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, cooking and fishing.

Surviving are her husband, Paul Reeves; children, James (Janice) Reeves, Salt Lake City; Donnell (Carolyn) Reeves, Ogden; Melvin (Venessa) Reeves, Ogden; Pauline (Larry) Mize, Centerville; Marie (Sam) Wilkins, Clinton; Nelsene (Robin) Buchannan of Ogden; Robin Bailey, Salt Lake City; Doris (Darrell Clifton) Bassey, Ogden; Shyree Reeves, Salt Lake City; one step-son, Sheldon Reeves; 30 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and her special friend, Wayne.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Marvin, Bobby, Carlton; two brothers; and one sister.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, February 15, 2002 at 6:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall, 333 W. 7th Street. Cremations under the direction of Myers Mortuary in Ogden.
