Joshua Ted Van Meeteren

Joshua T. Van Meeteren our beloved, father, brother, uncle, friend, and son passed away on February 24, 2017. Joshua was born on June 15, 1975 in Ogden, UT. He was the son of C. Ted Van Meeteren and Melissa J. Hague. Joshua spent his childhood in Ogden, graduating from Bonneville High School in 1993, he also attended Weber State University. He formerly worked for Hill Air Force Base & Weber State University.

Joshua was a very loving and devoted father, and helped raise his brilliant boy Teagun. He enjoyed snowboarding, riding motorcycles, watching the Buffalo Bills, sharing his love of the outdoors and fishing with his son. They enjoyed board games, movies, bike rides, video games, playing catch with the football, boating, time with his cousins, and operating his remote control boat at the lake. Teagun was the light of Josh's life.

Josh had a kind and generous heart and he leaves behind an extended family that will miss him dearly. He is survived by his father Ted, his three brothers, Zac (Cherrie), Matt Van Meeteren, and Joey Black, and his son Teagun. Josh married Teagun's mother, Stephanie Batson in 1999, and was later divorced in 2005. He is preceded in death by his mother. Josh is remembered as a bright, intelligent, caring, and loving father. Services to celebrate Joshua's life will be held on Saturday, March 4th, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. Ogden, UT. The service is entrusted by Myers Mortuary. Attendees may arrive early around 10 a.m. to pay respects to the family and share their condolences.
