Juanita Deloris Devor

Clearfield - Juanita Deloris Devor passed away into the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ on November 1, 2012, a true loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was born in Bluefield, WV, the eighth child born to John William and Annie King Gott of West Graham, VA. She graduated from Graham High School in 1941. She was employed by with the federal government for 22 years and retired October 1998 from Hill Air Force Base, Utah.
Juanita married Robert Devor on January 21, 1944, at Memorial Baptist Church in Bluefield, WV. She has lived in various U.S. locations; along with Germany and France. She loved all kinds of crafts, especially crocheting and needlepoint. She enjoyed working outside in her flowers and vegetable garden, and boating and fishing with her husband, family and friends. She was a flower chairman for her church for over 26 years and a volunteer worker at Clearfield Senior Center and Ogden Rescue Mission.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; two sons, Robert (Anna), Gary (Elvie); two granddaughters and five great grandchildren.
A memorial Service will be held at Mountain View Baptist Church, 2585 East 3000 North, Layton, Utah with Pastor Keith Markham on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. The family requests no flowers.
"Do not weep for me, for I am not here, only a smile or laugh will do. When you feel blue or lonesome think of the happy times we have had together and know some sweet day we will all be together in our Heavenly home without pain or sorrow."
