Judith (Judy) Ruby Johnston McFarland
November 6, 1938 ~ March 7, 2017

Out beautiful and beloved Judy McFarland passed away peacefully surrounded by those she loved with all her heart. Her life was shared with a multitude of family and friends that delighted in her smile and company.

Judy was born in Brigham and later moved to Ogden where she spent the majority of her life. Married to Darrell Butterfield for 20 years and later married Gordon McFarland. Judy nurtured with love and compassion 10 children, of which 4 were with ex-husband Darrell and 6 stepchildren with Gordon.

Judy is survived by her 4 children: Rodney Butterfield (GayLee Butterfield), Cory Butterfield, Dawn Sutherland (Rick Sutherland), Jill Stain (Tom Stain). and 6 stepchildren: Cathy McDill, Susan Roesner (Russ Roesner), Peggy McFarland, Carol McFarland, Sharon Campbell (Stewart Campbell), and Todd McFarland.

She spent many enjoyable years doing charitable work as a member of the B.P.O. DOES Ogden Drove Organization. She will always be known and remembered for her loving smile, her forgiving and acceptance of others, her loving attitude towards life, and a connoisseur of the English language.

May she now rest in the love of those that have gone before her, knowing that her love still lives within each of us every day.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, followed by a graveside service at the Plain City Cemetery, 4373 W 1975 N, Plain City.
