Judy Rae Brodal
January 16, 1943 - January 29, 2017

Judy Rae Joens Brodal passed away peacefully in her sleep at home. She was born in Ogden, Utah, to Raymond and Abbie Boettger Joens. Judy grew up treasuring family camping and fishing trips. She belonged to the Daughters of the Eastern Star, before giving it up, and graduated from Davis High in 1961.

Judy met her husband Glenn Terrance Brodal while working at the BDO. They were married May 17, 1969; for 19 years.

Judy loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed music, baking cookies, classic movies, drawing, gardening, and embroidery.

Judy is survived by her children, Stephanie M. (Gerald) Tatton, Dr. Clint O. (Cheyenne) Brodal, and Margaret L. Brodal. Grandchildren, Samantha and Gerald, and her sister, Carol (Michael) Petz, and their children, Heidi, and Joel.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Abbie, her husband, Glenn, and one daughter, Melanie.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 2, 2017, at 1:00 p.m., at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah. A viewing for family and friends will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2017, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., and on Thursday from 11:30 - 12:30 p.m., prior to services.

Interment in Aultorest Memorial Park, in Ogden, on 36th Street.
