BRIGHAM CITY - Judy Wood Ratcliffe passed away during open heart surgery Monday, October 26, 2015.
Judy was born in Brigham City to Vyrle Wood and Doris Christensen on September 28, 1940. She was a long time resident of Brigham City, UT.
Judy graduated from LDS Business College.
She married John Henry Laub May 4, 1961. Together they had three children. They were later divorced. Judy met her sweetheart Ronald H. Ratcliffe while working in the Brigham City Temple and they were sealed in the Brigham Temple on October 29, 2013.
She served in Relief Society, Primary and Sunday School. She worked as a Temple worker in the Ogden and Brigham City Temples. Judy loved Family History and worked at the Family History Center for many years.
She worked as the Office Manger at Associated Brigham Contractors where she retired after 27 years.
Judy was an avid and accomplished gardener, cross stitcher and crocheter. She loved to travel. Together with Ron they enjoyed visiting family, grandkids and friends. During their two years of marriage they put over 60, 000 miles on their vehicle while on road trips, where Judy loved watching the different scenery.
Judy is survived by her husband Ronald H. Ratcliffe; children: Rex R. Laub, John J. (Colette) Laub, Cindy J. (Dan) Burnett, KayLynn (Jeff) Schick, Teresa (Brandt) Peterson, Michael (Lori) Ratcliffe, Laurie (Rahn) Rampton, Heather (Todd) Johnson, Joshua (Beth) Ratcliffe, 25 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren with one on the way. Also siblings Nancy Wood, Brent Wood and Barbara (Sam) Smith.
Preceded in death by her parents and infant grandson James Arthur Burnett.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Brigham 13th Ward Chapel, 25 N. 300 E., Brigham City, UT.
Viewings will be Friday, October 30, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT and on Saturday from 12:00 to 12:40 p.m. at the Church.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
