Julia Hope

CLEARFIELD - Julia Searle Hope, 56, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2004 at her home of complications due to illness.

She was born November 26, 1947 in Ogden to Clarence and Fern Provost Searle. She married Val Hope on October 31, 1996.

A short time ago Julia was baptized as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the West Point 2nd Ward.

Julia was a loving, caring, gifted person who always cared about other people. She loved her family and grandchildren. She recently ran for West Point City Council.

Surviving are her husband, Val Hope; children, Randy (Heather) Nicholas, Jeffery Dean (Molly Jo) Nicholas, Jenafer Lanne (Ted) Sonnenburg, Heber Glenn (Christen) Nicholas; step-children, Benjamin Hope, Jennifer Norton, Joshua Hope and 19 grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers and one sister, Norman Searle, Patricia Searle Foulke, and John Searle.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shamara Jean, and one granddaughter, Savannah Lee.
