Julie Hamson Young

BRIGHAM CITY - Julie Hamson Young passed away on February 25, 2015 at the Huntsman Cancer Institute after an extended illness. Julie was born November 9, 1961 to Floyd and Colleen Stokes Hamson in Brigham City, Utah.

Julie married Tod Young on June 26, 1981. They had three sons, Derek, Rick and Kiel.
Julie was an accomplished seamstress and loved to fish. She was a very proud grandmother to her granddaughter Tesla.

Julie is survived by her husband, Tod; sons Derek, Rick and Kiel; granddaughter, Tesla; mother, Colleen; siblings Brian (Maxine) Hamson, Dale (Donna) Hamson, Doug (Cindy) Hamson and Linda (Dave) Snook.
She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd.

It was Julie's wish to be cremated, and a private family gathering will be held in her memory.

"Hardly a person was ever as helpful or loving to everyone who knew her. There is no replacing such a grand soul, nor will anyone prove as determined to share such undying compassion.
