JUNE LINFORD BERGLUND HUNTER

WEST POINT - I was born June 2, 1919, at home in Ogden, Utah, the second child and first daughter of George Louis and Orva Housley Linford. My brothers Leo, Verl, and LeRoy preceded me in death. I am survived by my younger sister Donna Mae (Joe deceased) Baadsgaard of Moses Lake, WA, and brother, Ray H. (Joanne) Linford of Orem.

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have served in many positions in Ogden and Sunset. I am a member of the West Point 13th Ward.

In my early school years I lived in Garland, Brigham City and Ogden. I loved school and learning. When I was fourteen Frank Berglund became a part of my life. We lived a couple of doors away from each other and went to Mt. Fort Jr. High, dated and graduated from Ogden High School.

On February 28, 1940, Frank and I married in the Salt Lake Temple. We have three sons, Lynn (deceased), Dennis (deceased) and Paul. Their wives, Hazel Bronson, Martha Berglund, and Lloydene Gibson became my daughters the "easy way". With births and marriages at this time, I have 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Frank passed away in 1975 and in 1986 our granddaughter Michelle joined her grandfather.

I have had a variety of occupations and retired from DDO. I met and married Lloyd E. Hunter December 14, 1976 in the Ogden Temple for time. We served in the Ogden Temple for 22 years. With our marriage my family increased with four sons and two daughters Lloyd L. (Terri) Hunter, Joy Nettles, James D. Hunter (deceased) Robert A. (Rula) Hunter, Brent A. (Lynda) Hunter and Kae Burden, and presently 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Lloyd passed away August 26, 2000.

I lived at home until July 2005. I moved to West Point in 2006. I have lived at Family Tree Assisted Living until my death on August 31, 2009. I have met many new friends here. I want to thank everyone who has taken such good care of me in the last years of my life My family and I do not know what we would have done without you. May God Bless and Keep All of You "until we'll meet again". Love, June.
