June Nagao

HONEYVILLE - June Teruko Nagao, 82 passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 with her loving family by her side.
June was born on June 3, 1932 in Layton, Utah a daughter of Kuichi Hirabayashi and Yasu Nisogi.
She graduated from Davis High School.
June married her sweetheart Tom Nagao on January 16, 1954 in Honeyville, Utah.
She is a member of the Buddhist Church and served in various Buddhist offices: social chairman, religious chairman, treasurer. June enjoyed bowling, quilting, sewing, talking and reading. She had worked for Brigham Apparel and Thiokol.
June was a Heart Transplant recipient May 2, 1989.

Surviving are her husband, Tom, children: Kent (Jill) Nagao; Christine (Kirk) Gardner; Debbie (Wesley) Koga; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren with two on the way. Also sister Lola (Stom) Yamamoto; brother Max ( Akie) Hirabayashi; and sister-in-law Marie Hirabayshi.
Preceded in death by her brothers: George and Dick Hirabayashi.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Honeyville Buddhist Temple, 3945 W. 6900 N., Honeyville, UT.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT. Interment will be in the Honeyville Cemetery.
