June C. Wadman, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend was called home April 21, 2013. She was born in Ogden on June 16, 1928 a daughter of Rosa Schwab and Hans Christensen. She attended Ogden High School. She married the love of her life, V. Jay Wadman on February 16, 1945. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple in 1947. June and Jay enjoyed 68 wonderful years together until Jay died on January 5, 2013.

June found her life's mission as a devoted and loving wife and mother. She cherished her role as a homemaker. She was a faithful member of the Pleasant View 3rd and 11th wards. She loved to serve others, especially her service in the church as a Cub Scout Leader, Primary,
Relief Society Presidency, Ward Librarian and many other callings.

June enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading, music, playing the piano and organ. She enjoyed traveling especially to Hawaii, but her favorite place to be was her home. She was a wonderful cook and best known for her taco and potato salads. She loved music from the Big Band Era, especially the Lawrence Welk Show.

She was the last surviving family member of her generation and was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters; also two sons, Blaine and Grant and a son-in-law, Don White.

She is survived by her children, Rick (Randolyn) Wadman, Larry (Maree) Wadman, David (Ronda) Wadman and Trudi White; 26 grandchildren and 53 great-grandchildren.

Special thanks to all the loving care givers who cared for June the last several months of her life, especially her loving daughter, Trudi.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the Pleasant View Stake Center, 3600 North 500 West. Friends may call on Monday, April 29, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd, and prior to services from 9:40 to 10:40 a.m. at the church. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
