Junius Jay Shupe Obituary (1959 - 2015)

Junius "Jay" Shupe Our loving father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, Junius "Jay" Shupe passed away on October 9, 2015. He was born on August 9, 1959 in Ogden, Utah to Junius Junior and Loretta Talbot Shupe. He married Susan Helm; they divorced. He then married Katrina Myers; they divorced. He later married Clara (Carrie) Sewell; they were divorced. Jay was a graduate of Central High School in Colorado and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He achieved a third degree black belt in Karate. He is survived by his parents, Junius "Junior" and Loretta Shupe; children, Tyler Jayson, Channyel Samantha, Jordan Richard, all of Clearfield; and Jessica Erin Shupe; two granddaughters, Bowen Rose and Mavis Marie of Clearfield; sisters, Lorrie Fowler, Glenna Shupe; brother, Aaron (Hilary) Shupe and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard; nephew, Justin; niece, Seandra; grandparents; and brother-in-law, Eugene Fowler. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2015 at the Lorin Farr 4th Ward, 770 15th Street, Ogden. Arrangements entrusted to Myers Ogden Mortuary.
