Karma Campbell Shaw Obituary (1921 - 2013)

Karma Campbell Shaw Karma will at last be rejoining her husband of thirty-six years, Lloyd Elijah Shaw, who died on May 1, 1978, more than thirty-five years ago. They are pictured here shortly after their wedding in 1942. Karma died on Monday, October 7, 2013, at the age of ninety-two. She was a life-long North Ogden resident. She was born in Preston, Idaho, on April 11, 1921 to Lester H. and Lina Wettstein Campbell. She and Lloyd have five children: Christy (Mike) Griffin, Lindee, Gregory, Jon and Susan (Norman) George, all of whom survive her. Karma also has thirteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great grandchildren, all of whom survive. This large family has remained close, and almost everyone lives in the Ogden area. She was proud of her service to the LDS Church in many capacities, including her calling to the Ogden Temple. She loved traveling, painting, and golf, a game she played until she was eighty-five years old. Mom loved life and those around her. She was a kind, positive person who always had many friends who loved her. She will remain in our hearts and be loved always. There will be a short graveside celebration of her life at the North Ogden Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 East 2850 North, at 1p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013.
