Katharine Webb Obituary (1982 - 2006)

Katie was born on a beautiful summer day, July 30 of 1982. She left us to return to her Heavenly Father on another beautiful summer day, July 1, 2006. She embodied all the characteristics of a perfect child of her Heavenly Father, even though her mind and body in this life were imperfect. She was always HAPPY and willing to accept her challenges. Katie's loving parents, brother and sisters, Matt, Jennie and Becky, felt a deep and abiding love and were honored to love her, care for her and cherish her. We feel blessed to have had her as part of our family. Those who knew Katie loved her. We saw the hand of her Heavenly Father in her life every day. Katie is now dancing in the light of our Savior's love. Katie was unselfishly served by many caregivers who are angels among us. Katie had a special bond with Rebecca Fenn, who gave her all to make Katie's life better. Rebecca was like a sister to Katie. Heartfelt love and thanks go out to all her special caregivers who have come into our home through the years to bless Katie and Becky's lives. Katie loved all of her friends at DTSI. Many thanks to all of Katie's teachers and friends over the years. They made every day bright and happy for her. A special thanks to Rocky Mountain Home Care, IHC Hospice and the ICU unit at McKay-Dee and her dear teacher and friend through the years, Clara Gifford. She would want her Taylor Canyon Ward family to know how much she loved them all. She is survived by her parents, John and Sharon Webb; grandparents, Wells and Helen McAllister of Ogden; one brother and two sisters, Matthew (Kira) Webb of Ogden; Jennie Lynn Webb (Nathan) Wahlstrom of Portland, OR; Rebecca "Becky" Webb of Ogden. Becky and Katie shared a special sisterhood in their physical and spiritual lives. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arch and Lucile Webb.
