Fran Stokes

OGDEN - Katherine Frances Byrd Stokes, 79 passed away on October 31, 2014 at Ogden Regional Hospital. Fran was born on March 16, 1935 in Wadesville, Indiana a daughter of Geraldine Juanita Wetherford and Martin Byrd.
She married Dallas Stokes December 16, 1960 in Concord, California.
Fran was kind and giving and donated to every worthy cause. She loved to square dance.
She taught school for 50 years most of which where at Ogden High School.
Surviving are her children: Suzanne (Charles) Earle, Oregon; Samuel Stokes, Ogden; close friend Walter Cole; two grandchildren: Katie and Robby, also siblings: Joyce (Bud) Budeseim, Phyllis McGovern and Marty (Cindy) Byrd. Preceded in death by her parents and husband Dallas.
There will be A Celebration of Life Friday, November 7, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City. Friends may call Friday from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. at the Mortuary.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
