Kathleen Rose Myrtle

ROY - Kathleen Rose Myrtle, 68, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at her home after a courageous battle with MS.

She was born November 1, 1939 in Wenatchee, Washington, the daughter of William A. and Catherine Steinbach McCoy.

She married Donald Myrtle on November 9, 1956 in Wenatchee, Washington.

Kathleen attended Wenatchee High School.

Kathleen lived in Wenatchee, Washington for 20 years, Oregon, Utah, Mississippi, Georgia, South Carolina, and New Jersey. She was a wife who moved with her husband's career, but Utah was always her home.

Kathleen was a member of the Kaysville Jaycees, Moose Lodge, American Legion and Eagles.

She enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking and decorating.

She is survived by her husband Donald, daughter, Dorene Fay Grppi and son Craig Allan Myrtle, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Christy, son Duane, and four brothers.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Myers Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd. Ogden. Family and friends may call on Monday at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services.
