Kathleen Vaughn

Kathleen Helen Vaughn, 100, peacefully returned home on April 5, 2025. Kathleen, and her twin brother Kenneth, were born to Arthur and Cassie (Cale) Huggins on September 2, 1924, in Davenport, Iowa.
On May 6, 1945, Eagle Rock Baptist Church was delighted to officiate the union of Kathleen and Jess Vaughn. While Kathleen worked tirelessly at the IRS, she found time to focus on her other passions in life. Kathleen was a prolific collector of porcelain dolls.
Kathleen is survived by her children: Jeanne (Lynn) Conner, Johnny Vaughn, Kathy Citte, Kenneth (Barbara) Vaughn, Nancy (Ronnie) Petersen, and Nick Vaughn. Kathleen is also survived by her brother, Kenneth Huggins, 16 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jess; her parents Arthur and Cassie Huggins; and her daughter in-law, Stella Vaughn.
The family would like to thank all of the staff at Hidden Valley Assisted Living in South Ogden, for their compassionate care. Her feisty spirit, a testament to her strength, was what everyone admired, a resilience that shone through even the toughest times.
Kathleen always made sure that she put on her foundation, rouge, and her signature red lipstick.
