Kay Evans

Kay Evans of Harrisville passed away on February 28, 2016. She was born February 27, 1946 in Ogden, Utah the daughter of Thelma (Kruitbosch) and Frank E. Donoviel. Kay graduated from Ben Lomond High School and attended Stevens Henagar College.

She lived and raised her boys as a single mom in Carols Mobile Homes where she made many friends. She had many jobs including Fisher Hess Pontiac, Payless Appliance, Von Stauffer's and Defense Depot Ogden.

She married William S. Evans on October 7, 1997.

She enjoyed cross stitching, cooking, attending the Ogden Raptors baseball games and tending her grandchildren. Loving family was her life.

She is survived by her husband; her mother; son, Christian Cable (Stephany); step-daughter, Karen Larsen (Ron); step-son, Scott Evans (Jennifer); 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; her brother Ken Donoviel (Lynne) and sister, Diane Humiston (Bob) and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and her son Jarrad Cable.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 6 to 8 PM at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. on Monday, March 7, 2016.

The family would like to thank Ogden Regional Hosp, Promise Hosp. in SLC, Rocky Mtn. Care in Clearfield, Lakeview Hosp. in Bountiful and So. Davis Community Hosp. in Bountiful for their care of Kay.
