Keith Roland Keyes

OGDEN - Keith Roland "Shortie" Keyes passed away unexpectedly at home Thursday, Jan 10, 2002. He was born on Nov 25, 1950 to Roland Merl and Verla Bryne Keyes. He was raised in Ogden, attending Ogden City Schools, graduating from Ben Lomond High School.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends. One of his greatest joys was taking care of mom. He worked in the grocery business for 33 years, working for Wangsgards and presently employed by Harmons in Harrisville.

He was a member of the LDS Ogden 48th Ward.

Surviving are his mother: Verla Keyes; two brothers: Jay Keyes, Ogden; and Gary (Marcy) Keyes, Ogden; two sisters: Barbara Bonzo, Pleasant View; Lois Hennefer, Riverdale; three nephews, Nick (Nikki), Cody, TR; four nieces, Tarra (Morgan), Natalie (Adam), Fay (Steve), Keely and Misty; five great nieces; two great nephews; uncles; aunts; and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, brother and grandparents.
