Keith David Lyter

–

Washington Terrace, Utah

Keith David Lyter, of Washington Terrace, Utah, passed away on September 22, 2026. Keith was born in Northridge, CA on February 7, 1975, and although he lived in several places throughout his life, he considered Washington Terrace, Utah his home.

Keith was a humble, reliable, and thoughtful individual, known for his loyalty and kindness. He was a calm and reserved soul, not one to seek out the limelight, but always there when you needed him. He found joy in the simpler things in life, collecting memorabilia of dragons, swords, and cherished characters from wrestling and G.I. Joe. He was an avid reader of science fiction books and a fan of Japanese Anime. His love for entertainment extended to the world of video games, where he spent countless hours immersed in different realities. His earlier years were filled with activities such as golf and bowling. Throughout his life, Keith showed us that it is not the grand gestures, but the simple acts of living that create a life of substance.

Keith is survived by his father, Donald Lyter; his mother, Earlene Lyter; his brother, Kenneth Lyter, his brother, Scott Lyter and sister in-law Marjorie Lyter, his sister Holly Lyter and brother in-law, Todd Rawlins, and his sister Teri Birkland and brother in-law Karl Birkland, along with an abundance of nieces and nephews and a host of friends who will deeply miss his presence. His life was a testament to the power of loyalty, reliability, humility, and thoughtfulness. He showed us that it was possible to lead a rich and fulfilling life without seeking fame or fortune, but by simply being true to oneself and valuing the relationships around us.

We invite you to share your memories of Keith, to upload photos and to continue his legacy of love and friendship on his memorial page. Let us remember him not for his departure, but for the kidlike life he lived, the friendships he made, and the love he shared. As Walt Disney said, "Laughter is timeless. Imagination has no age. And dreams are forever." May Keith live on in our hearts and memories.
