Kellee Diane Van Voris Obituary (1969 - 2010)

Kellee Diane Van Voris (Lady Bug) WEST POINT - Kellee Diane Van Voris, age 40, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 25, 2010. Kellee was born November 6, 1969 to Kenneth and Pegi Butler in Canton, Ohio. She married Derek Van Voris on March 22, 1992 in Glendale, Arizona and was later sealed on March 26, 1998 in the Salt Lake Temple. Kellee was active in the LDS church, she served in the Primary and sang in the choir. She enjoyed jazz and tap dancing, singing, competition swimming and horseback riding. At the age of 12 she won 1st place in an open ocean 5k swim in Siapan. Kellee was always the life of the party and always brought a special spirit to the gathering. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Kellee is survived by her husband Derek, daughter Ashlee and sons Austin and Alexander; grandson Conner; parents; brothers Shanan and Matthew; sisters Jeanne (Nick) Hock and Amanda (Ben) Baldonado, mother-in-law Anne (Howard) James; brother-in-law Brett Van Voris, sister-in-law Tamara (Frederick) Johnson; grandmother Lorna Butler; 15 very special nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins who were dear to her heart. She is preceded in death by her son Aaron; grandfather Dale Butler; grandparents Patrick & Pearl Fitzgibbon; father-in-law Gary Van Voris; niece Amberlee Butler; and aunt Polly Farris. A special thanks to all those friends, family and ward members who have helped and spent time with Kellee over the years. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 29, 2010 at West Point 17th Ward, 880 N 4000 W, West Point, Utah. A viewing will be held at the church on Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be for family and invited guests.
