Kelly Stephen Colvin Obituary (1959 - 2009)

Kelly Stephen Colvin Pocatello- Kelly Stephen Colvin, 50, passed away October 12, 2009, of injuries from an automobile accident. Kelly was born January 26, 1959 in Ogden, Utah to Frank and Myra Colvin. He graduated from Ben Lomond High in 1977, where he participated in track, football and his passion, hockey. He married Diane Stephens on March 24, 1978. They had three children and later divorced. He married DeeDee Kelly on October 20, 1988 in Ogden, Utah. They have two children. He was honorably discharged from the Air Force after serving from 1978-1982. He was employed by Advanced Millwork Installations. He loved spending time with family, hunting, camping and playing with his two dogs. He loved to joke and make people laugh. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He was a devoted husband, father, son, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. He was proud of all his children and grandchildren, and will be missed greatly. He is survived by his wife, DeeDee; two sons, Jeremy (Joanna) and Shawn; three daughters, Jessica (Robert) Bennington, Melissa (Kodee) Rich, and Autumn; three brothers; two sisters; seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 11:00am at Myers Mortuary in Ogden, UT. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8pm and on Saturday from 10-10:45am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Myers Mortuary to help with funeral expenses or to the Kelly Colvin Memorial Fund at U.S. Bank.
