Kenneth Gene Wadman February 26, 1927 - December 15, 2023
Kenneth Gene Wadman, age 96, passed away Friday, December 15, 2023, at his home. He was born February 26, 1927, in Ogden, Utah to Orson Richard Wadman and Frances Rose Abbott.
He attended schools in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School. He served as a Seaman 2nd Class in WWII and was Honorably discharged June 20, 1946.
Kenneth married Reta Loraine Davis on November 7, 1952, in Ogden, Utah. They were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple.
He was an Elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He retired from Hill Air Force Base as the Supervisor of Inventory Control Branch. He loved camping, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family.
He is survived by children: David R. (Sherry) Wadman, L. Darcelle (Rick) Murakami, Dawn, (Robert) Bernert, Nicole Child, 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, wife: Reta Loraine Davis, brothers: J. Howard Wadman and R. Norman Wadman, daughters: Linda D. Robinson and Desiree R. Rust.
The family would like to thank Candice Cortez and her family for dad's daily care.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 27th, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hooper City Cemetery, 5290 South 6300 West, Hooper. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 9:00 - 10:15 a.m. prior to the graveside service.
