Kevin Green

In the tapestry of life, there are individuals whose lives are woven with threads of laughter, talent, love, and generosity. Kevin Allen Green, fondly known as Tigerman by his family, and KG by his friends, was born on January 19, 1963, in Ogden, Utah. Kevin was a joyful testament to living life on one's own terms. He embarked on his final journey on September 2, 2024.

Kevin was a man of many talents, his spirit as vibrant as the music he loved. He had a passion for basketball, singing, and had a unique ability to fill a room with laughter. He was a remarkable storyteller, his was humor infectious, with captivating tales along his life journey. Kevin's laughter echoed through Utah, California, Arizona, and Massachusetts; areas he proudly called home.

As a man of faith, Kevin was brought up in Embry Chapel AME and later became an active member of the Second Baptist Church of Ogden. He lived his faith according to Joshua 1:9, "Be strong and courageous."

Kevin's memory is lovingly cherished by his daughter LaTonya (Dennis) Jackson, his son, Kenyon Green, his sister, Ptoshia (Robert) Merrills, his foster brothers Kelvin Matthews, and Marshall Green; his ex-wives Tiffany (Allen) Blake, Tamara (Thomas) Larry; and his close cousin/best friend Olies Dockery. He will lovingly be missed by his grandchildren, nephews, and a host of cousins. He joins his parents, Esther and Ida Green, in eternal rest.

As we remember Kevin, we invite you to join us for a viewing on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 6-7 pm at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. Ogden. A memorial service will be held directly following the viewing at 7:15pm.
