Kurt Alan Sterner Obituary (1959 - 2013)

Kurt Alan Sterner CLINTON - Kurt Alan Sterner passed away on October 31, 2013. His death followed the passing of his beloved wife of 26 years, Cynthia Ellen Sterner, who died March 19, 2013. Kurt was born in Burlingame, California on December 11, 1959 to Lois and Carl Sterner. Cynthia was born October 16, 1964 in Roseville, California to Sharon Harmon. Kurt and Cynthia lived in Clinton, Utah for 14 years. Always the life of the party, Kurt and Cynthia were beloved and respected by many in their lives together. They will both be missed by the many people whose lives they touched on a daily basis. Kurt served his country in the Coast Guard for four years, and worked at the Hill Air Force Base since 1999. Cynthia was an adored manager at her local Walmart store. Kurt is survived by his son, Shaun Sterner, his mother and step-father Lois and Nick Thornton, and his four siblings: Sheri Nadeau, Jeffery Sterner, Todd Sterner and Nicole Thornton-Palacio. Cynthia is survived by her three siblings: James Stewart, Kelly Looper and Wayne Stewart. Kurt and Cynthia are both survived also by their daughter, Emily Sterner.
