WILLARD - Kirk Wixom Tippets passed away March 5, 2016. He was born November 16, 1958 to Thad Ricks and Beverly Amidan Tippets. He grew up in Washington Terrace and attended Bonneville High School and Weber State University. Kirk married Linda Ostrup and they had four children. They were later divorced.
He worked for Parker for 30 years as a Quality Engineer.
He loved all motorcycles; Kirk did a lot of traveling on his Harley with his fiancAC., Mari. Kirk enjoyed the outdoors; camping, hunting, and four-wheeling.
Kirk was a wonderful grandpa and spent a lot of time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are his children: Daniel Jay Tippets (April), Ted Tippets (Karlie), Laura Tippets, and Nicole Tippets Kafton (Patrick); nine grandchildren; and fiancAC., Mari Lynn Salter. Also, siblings: Becky Richmond (Warren), Heidi Kotter (Wayne), Jill Howe (Mark), Thad, Jr. (Wendy) Tippets, and Amy Tippets (Brett Austin).
Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Scott and Randy, and grandson Lincoln.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 11, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT.
Viewing will be Friday from 11:30 to 12:40 p.m. preceding services at the mortuary.
Interment will be in the Willard Cemetery.
In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to Myers Mortuary to help with Funeral Expense.
