Kristen Acosta

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Kristen Jackson Acosta, a loving and devoted mother and a friend to all whose lives she touched. She left this world suddenly, on December 20, 2023. Born on November 17, 1980, in Layton, UT to Glenda and Brad Jackson. Kristen spent most of her life in Layton before moving to Ogden. She was a compassionate, loving, funny, and thoughtful woman who touched the hearts of many.
Kristen was known for her vivacious spirit and contagious laughter. She was an Administrative Assistant at Big Brothers and Big Sisters, a role she held with pride and dedication. Her professional life was a testament to her caring nature and unquestionable integrity. She made a significant difference in the lives of her children and anyone who knew her.
Above everything, what mattered most to Kristen were her children, Nikelle Acosta, and Jaxson Acosta. They were important in every aspect of her life. She cherished every moment with them, making each day an adventure filled with laughter and joy.
Kristen is enjoying a grand reunion with her sister, Deanna, and her grandparents who preceded her in death.
A graveside service for Kristen will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Kaysville City Cemetery, 500 East Crestwood Road, Kaysville, Utah, 84037. It is an opportunity to celebrate Kristen's life and to share the beautiful memories she left us.
