In Loving Memory of Kristine T. Nicholas
With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Kristine T. Nicholas on October 10, 2026, at her home in Corinne, Utah, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 76 years old.
Kristine was born on March 30, 1950, in Brigham City, Utah, to Frank and Beryl Troxell. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Throughout her life, she devoted herself to her family, her faith, and her community, touching countless lives through her kindness and compassionate service.
Kris married her high school sweetheart, Lee Nicholas, on March 18, 1967. Their eternal commitment was later sealed in the Logan Utah Temple, a blessing that remained central to their lives and faith. They spent the next 59 years together, building a loving home and sharing a lifetime of treasured memories.
As a mother, Kris was a constant source of love, wisdom, and encouragement to her children, Kelly, Clay, and Stan. Her unwavering support, gentle guidance, and selfless devotion enriched their lives and the lives of all who knew her.
Kris was known for her warm heart, generosity, quick sense of humor, and unconditional love for her family. She had many talents and enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting, and creating beautiful crafts. She also found great joy in serving others, especially during her many years of working with special needs children at school. Her patience, kindness, and genuine care left a lasting impression on the students, families, and coworkers whose lives she touched.
Those who knew Kris will remember her for her welcoming spirit, her ability to make everyone feel loved, and the countless ways she quietly served those around her. Her compassion, laughter, and example of Christ like love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Kris is survived by her devoted husband, Lee Nicholas; her children, Kelly (Anita), Clay (Tina), and Stan (Sharon); 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Todd Troxell and Craig (Mariann) Troxell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Beryl Troxell; her beloved sister, Kathie Landon; and her sweet daughter in law, Tandi Nicholas.
