Brigham City, Utah
This beautiful mommy, wife, daughter, sister, auntie and cousin has finally been set free to use those angels wings she earned in this life. Kristyn didn't lose her battle, because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick or in pain, she fought for every minute she could have with her two beautiful sons. They were, and are, her everything.
Kristyn was born on August 9, 1989, in Brigham City, the daughter of Tauni & Christopher Busch and Mark Madsen.
Kristyn married her best friend, Christopher Nichols on September 5, 2012 in Logan, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Brigham City Temple on January 14, 2014. Kristyn was an amazing mom to her two boys Gordon (7) and Porter (4).
Kristyn loved music! Anyone who knew her, knew that! She was blessed with a beautiful singing voice and touched so many hearts over the years. She and her mother sang many duets together. Kristyn loved doing crafts, coloring, watching movies (especially with her boys). Her favorite movie you ask? "Little Mermaid", of course. At 3 years old she had all the movie lines memorized.
She loved playing the piano, sewing, crocheting and eating. Kristyn loved food! She loved to bake and cook. She was the candy queen and no matter where she was, she always kept her candy drawers stocked. Kristyn was always willing to share with anyone who needed a sugar boost.
Kristyn loved her many animals, especially her dogs Tipsy and Lulu who ran to greet her in Heaven.
Kristyn was loyal, feisty, stubborn, loving, kind, loved to laugh and was fiercely protective of her family. She spent many hours with her boys doing bubble guns on the back patio, making cotton candy, playing games, reading stories and many other fun activities together.
Kristyn had lots of amazing memories with her brothers and sisters; their shenanigans would bring you to tears laughing. Her smile and laugh were contagious.
Kristyn was kindhearted and was always looking to help someone, whether she knew you or not, she would give freely. She spent her last dime buying groceries for a family who had suffered a great loss. Everything about Kristyn will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Kristyn is reunited with her family who had passed before her, she was greeted with open arms by so many; her grandpa Lemon was most likely the first to scoop her up into a hug and she was most certainly happy to see her childhood best friend and sidekick A.J. She was also reunited with her other grandparents and relatives.
Kristyn leaves a void in her large family, missing her will be her parents, her husband Chris, her two boys, siblings: Tyler (Lacey) Madsen, Jonathan (Junette) Madsen, Michael (Tamara) Madsen, Chris (Cindy) Weed, Kandis (Jake) Lott, Justin (Rebecca) Madsen, Bambi (Jackson) Godfrey, Gabrielle Vanderdeyl, and Kaitlyn (Damon & Allison) Hendrickson, Wyatt Madsen and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A gathering will take place on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, Utah. Followed by a Celebration of Life from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at The White Barn, 3150 West Forest Street, Brigham City, Utah.
The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors who saw to her needs, especially her homecare nurse Crystal, the staff at Willow Glen, the staff at the Fresenius Kidney Care Center, and Dr. Lish.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to an education fund for her sons (Venmo @tauni-busch) We can't think of a better way to honor her.
