Lamae Jenne Ross Obituary (1928 - 2002)

LaMae "Kit" Jenne Ross LAYTON-LaMae "Kit" Jenne Ross, 74, passed away peacefully with her daughter at her side on June 20, 2002. She was born May 7, 1928, the only daughter of Jesse C. Jenne and L. Pearl Fronk Jenne. LaMae married Arnold Ross in the Logan LDS Temple, June 28, 1946. Arnold preceded her in death May 19, 2002. She enjoyed traveling, rock collecting, doll making, ceramics and playing the slots in Wendover where she won her biggest jackpot last year. LaMae will be remembered most for her love of animals, especially cats, and her willingness to help anyone in need. She was active in the PTA, served as a room mother for each of her children and taught Sunday School for many years. Surviving are her children, Phil A. Ross, Wayne A. (Aileen) Ross, Lynn A. Ross, Elaine (Michael) Risen, Alan Ross; 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren with another one due in September; brothers, David C. Jenne, San Jose, CA and Earl A. Jenne, Riverdale, UT. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter, Stephanie Potts and brother, Aaron Jenne. The family would like to thank Manor Care and all their wonderful staff for the excellent care given to our mother and Vista Care Hospice for their care and support.
