Lance Lewis Carver Obituary (1982 - 2002)

Ogden - Lance was called back home to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 16, 2002. Lance was a child that taught us to love deeper than one can imagine and we will miss him dearly. We thank our Heavenly Father for the time he shared with us. Lance was very sensitive to the feelings of friends and family. He had a contagious laugh, and loved the simple things in life like spending time with his dad, driving somewhere far away for the weekend, and playing board games. Lance was the "king" of Connect Four. Lance was very kind hearted. One of his favorite sayings was "I am here for you" and we know that Lance was on earth to help those who loved and cared for him. We know Lance is at peace now, rid of his fragile body and clouded mind. There are many happy times spent with Lance, and we know the true goodness and special spirit that he was. He gave us joy, teaching us love and patience. We are thankful for his liver donor, whose gift of life gave us 15 more years with this special spirit. The people of Loveland, CO, the Denver Broncos and High Country Auto made the gift of life possible for him. Lance was born on September 24, 1982, a son of Lewis and Vicki Carver of Pleasant View. He graduated from Weber High School. Lance has one sister, Aprill Carver, and one brother, Eric Carver, both of Pleasant View; his grandparents are Larry and Shirley Taylor, Pleasant View and Helen Carver, So. Ogden. Lance has many Aunts, Uncles and cousins that loved him and knew what a special person he was. Lance will always be remembered and loved. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Carver.
